Jojo brings over 35 years of dance and theater experience to her teaching, rooted in a lifelong passion for movement and creative expression. Her childhood training focused on ballet, and jazz, while her formal study in theater and dance focused on jazz, lyrical and costuming. In 2023, she began intensive training in burlesque and heels, launching her professional burlesque career in 2024.
Known for her niche expertise in chair work, chair acrobatics, floorwork, and the fusion of classic technique with a darker, harder alternative edge. Her classes emphasize technique, intention, and embodiment, inviting dancers to explore their strengths, sensuality, and connecting with movement authentic to themselves.
